Reaching out to Melo, he confirmed that the 49ers will travel to meet with Burke — not the other way around — meaning it is not a visit to the team's facilities in Santa Clara.
Burke is widely projected as a Day 3 selection, viewed as a developmental prospect with the physical traits to grow into a reliable contributor at the next level.
Offensive line depth remains a priority for San Francisco. Beyond adding immediate competition, the 49ers must also identify a long-term successor to All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams, who will turn 38 before the 2026 season.
