McCaffrey is coming off a dominant 2025 campaign. The All-Pro started all 17 games and led the NFL with a career-high and league-leading 413 touches, totaling 2,126 scrimmage yards and 17 touchdowns. That included 1,202 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.
The award marks a remarkable comeback for McCaffrey, who played just four games in 2024 due to Achilles tendinitis and a PCL injury. He has now recorded over 2,000 scrimmage yards in three seasons over his career.
McCaffrey beat out New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott for the award.
