- The 49ers have qualified for the playoffs for the fourth time in the past five seasons.
- QB Brock Purdy threw three or more touchdown passes in three of his final four regular-season games. Since 2022, he ranks fourth with 1,343 postseason passing yards and is tied for seventh with six touchdown passes. Purdy aims for his fourth consecutive playoff game with 250-plus passing yards and a touchdown pass. He is 4–2 in his postseason career.
- RB Christian McCaffrey ranked second in the NFL with 2,126 scrimmage yards (1,202 rushing, 924 receiving), third with 17 touchdowns, and sixth with 102 receptions in 2025. It marked his fifth career season with 1,000-plus rushing yards. McCaffrey is the only running back in NFL history with 100-plus receptions in multiple seasons (2018–19, 2025).
