Injury Notes

Tight end George Kittle missed his third straight practice after suffering an ankle injury on Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts. He is currently listed as questionable for the game against the Bears.

"Yeah, we could take it all the way there," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of Kittle. "George kind of told me he'd have a much better idea tomorrow, so hopefully we'll know by then."

Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall returned to a full week of practice, as did cornerback Renardo Green. Both were inactive against the Colts due to injuries, but Green has now been ruled out for Week 17, while Pearsall is listed as questionable.

Shanahan noted that Green's setback is an aggravation of an earlier injury, adding, "He got better this week than last week, so hopefully, it'll be good to go next week."

Regarding Pearsall, Shanahan said, "I think it got better for him each day, and hopefully, it'll continue here over the next 48 hours."

Linebacker Tatum Bethune, who tweaked his ankle in the Colts game, practiced all week and is expected to be full-go for Sunday night's matchup.

Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Bears, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
