- Activated K Matt Gay from the team's practice squad (standard elevation)
- Activated LB Jalen Graham from the practice squad (standard elevation)
Gay, who is in his seventh NFL season, was elevated last week after being signed to the 49ers' practice squad. Gay was added because of a hamstring injury to kicker Eddy Piñeiro. In his first game with San Francisco, Gay played well, hitting all of his field goal and extra point attempts, including a 47-yard field goal.
Graham is being elevated for the second week in a row due to an ankle injury suffered by starter Tatum Bethune. On Monday night, Graham played seven snaps, all on special teams. He did not record any tackles.
In other news, the NFL fined WR Jauan Jennings $12,172 for unnecessary roughness after he retaliated against Carolina Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig following the 49ers' win over the Panthers on Monday night. Moehrig was given a one-game suspension for his actions.
