On Saturday, the 49ers officially ruled out linebacker Tatum Bethune and kicker Eddy Piñeiro for Monday night's matchup. On Sunday, the team added defensive end Robert Beal to the list of players who will not suit up against the Panthers.
To help offset the losses, the 49ers made a couple of roster moves just hours ahead of kickoff, elevating recently signed kicker Matt Gay and linebacker Jalen Graham from the practice squad.
Additionally, linebacker Luke Gifford, who was listed as questionable for the Week 12 matchup, is active.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Jordan Watkins and defensive lineman Kevin Givens are inactive for the second straight week, offensive lineman Connor Colby is inactive for the third consecutive game, and running back Jordan James has yet to be active this season.
