Even Giants players were taken aback by the overwhelming sea of red in their own stadium.
"That was interesting," Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart said after the game. "I've never played at a home game where I felt like it was kind of lopsided in that department. But they have a good fan base, and they traveled well."

It's not unusual for the 49ers Faithful, one of the most passionate and far-reaching fan bases in the NFL, to take over opposing venues. Giants fans appeared more than willing to sell their tickets for this matchup—something 49ers fans eagerly capitalized on.
San Francisco's win improved its record to 6-3, while New York dropped to 2-7, remaining at the bottom of the NFC East standings.
"The Niners Faithful represented it very well, so I was pretty pumped about that," tight end George Kittle said.
Kittle praised the 49ers' supporters, adding, "Our road fans are just so good because a lot of the road fans, like this is their only opportunity to see us, and so they just go balls to the wall, I'll say, when they're cheering out there, and it's just so fun to see them. They're just so excited to watch us play, and you can just feel that energy really throughout the entire game, as long as we give them something to cheer about."
The 49ers certainly did. The team delivered one of its most complete performances of the season and will look to carry that momentum into a key NFC West matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at Levi's Stadium.
