At quarterback, Brock Purdy remains limited in practice as he works through his recovery from a lingering toe injury. He is officially listed as questionable for this weekend—the first time he hasn't been ruled out since Week 4. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan stated that Mac Jones will make his seventh start of the season.

Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall remains sidelined as he continues to recover from a knee injury. The second-year wideout hasn't played since Week 4 and has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

Bryce Huff also missed practice this week due to a hamstring injury. While he won't play on Sunday, defensive coordinator Robert Saleh noted that the veteran defensive end is expected to return next week.

Meanwhile, defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos (knee, hamstring) returned to practice on Thursday but did not participate in Friday's session. He has been ruled out.

Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Giants, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
