On Friday, the 49ers officially ruled out five players for Sunday's game due to injuries: center Jake Brendel, defensive ends Yetur Gross-Matos and Bryce Huff, wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, and quarterback Brock Purdy.
Tackle Spencer Burford (knee) was initially listed as questionable but was downgraded to out on Saturday. He remains on injured reserve.
Linebacker Luke Gifford (hamstring) and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir (quadriceps) are both listed as questionable heading into the matchup. Both are active.
Additionally, rookie wide receiver Jordan Watkins is active for the first time and is set to make his NFL debut.
To bolster depth, the 49ers elevated defensive lineman Trevis Gipson and offensive lineman Nick Zakelj from the practice squad on Saturday, making both players available for Sunday's game.
