LB Fred Warner (ankle, out)
Fred Warner went down in the first quarter and was quickly attended to by medical staff, who examined his right leg before carting the star linebacker off the field. He was fitted with an air cast as he was taken to the locker room.
The 49ers quickly ruled Warner out with an ankle injury, which looked serious based on the replay.
Update: The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that Warner suffered a dislocated right ankle. He will meet with doctors to assess the injury's severity and determine how much time he will miss.
