Injury Notes
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings practiced for the second consecutive day after missing last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Meanwhile, quarterback Brock Purdy and wide receiver Ricky Pearsall remained sidelined, participating only in limited rehab work.
Backup quarterback Mac Jones, expected to start on Sunday, has been managing knee and oblique injuries. He is officially listed as questionable to play. Jones saw limited action in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was observed throwing on Friday, signaling progress ahead of the Week 6 matchup.
If Jones can't play, it will be quarterback Adrian Martinez making his first start with the 49ers.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers will be without key offensive contributors, including wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, as well as running back Bucky Irving. None of the three practiced this week.
Below are Friday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Buccaneers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
