According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield will likely be without wide receiver Chris Godwin when they host the 49ers at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.
Godwin, who missed the first three games of the season due to an ankle injury, has played in the last two, recording six receptions for 52 yards. He is now dealing with a fibula injury.

Tampa Bay is also unlikely to have Mike Evans, who is expected to miss his third straight game due to a hamstring injury. Evans, the Buccaneers' leading receiver in 2023, has appeared in only three games this season, posting 14 catches for 140 yards and one touchdown.
Neither Evans nor Godwin has practiced this week.
Update: The Buccaneers have officially ruled out Godwin, Evans, and running back Bucky Irving for Sunday's game against the 49ers.
Meanwhile, for the 49ers, backup Mac Jones is expected to make his fourth start in five games as Brock Purdy continues to recover from a toe injury. Jones could be without rookie receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee), while tight end George Kittle (hamstring) isn't expected to return to practice until next week.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan also noted Thursday that wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) remains questionable, with his Week 6 status likely to "come down to the wire."
