The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundown.
Beal Jr. (6-4, 250) was originally drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round (173rd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. Throughout his career with the 49ers (2023-25), he has appeared in 18 games and registered 15 tackles and 1.0 sack. Beal Jr. was waived by the team on September 13, 2025, and later signed to the practice squad on September 15.
A 26-year-old native of Duluth, GA, Beal Jr. attended the University of Georgia (2017-22), where he appeared in 54 games (10 starts) and registered 72 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Bradley-King (6-4, 265) was originally drafted by the Washington Commanders in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft. Throughout his four-year career between the practice squad and active rosters of the Commanders (2021-23), New England Patriots (2023-24), Miami Dolphins (2024), and 49ers (2025), he has appeared in four games and registered seven tackles. In 2024, Bradley-King spent training camp with the Patriots and signed to the Dolphins' practice squad on August 30, where he spent the season. He spent the 2025 training camp with the 49ers before being released by the team on August 29.
A 27-year-old native of Kansas City, MO, Bradley-King spent five seasons (2016-20) at Arkansas State University (2016-19) and Baylor University (2020). Throughout his collegiate career, he appeared in 27 games (21 starts) and registered 51 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and four passes defensed. He twice earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors (First-Team – 2019; Second-Team – 2018) and earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors as a senior in 2020.
Mahoney (5-11, 200) originally entered the NFL after signing as an undrafted free agent with the 49ers on May 6, 2024. In 2024, he appeared in three games with the team and was later waived by the team on August 26, 2025.
A 24-year-old native of Rock Hill, SC, Mahoney attended the University of Vanderbilt for five years (2019-23), where he appeared in 54 games (45 starts) and registered 247 tackles, 4.0 sacks, 22 passes defensed, four interceptions, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Canteen (5-10,193) originally signed to the practice squad on August 27, 2025.
