Head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters after the game to provide injury updates, noting that the team is still assessing Bosa's condition and isn't ruling anything out.
"They checked for ACL and stuff there," Shanahan said. "It was good with that, but we're still not sure, so we've got to check with more thorough things here tonight and tomorrow."
Shanahan added that the 49ers have not ruled out a potential ACL injury.
"We're not sure," he said. "There is concern because of how he feels. They did the tests and stuff on the sideline. Usually, they say whether he definitely did or not, and they didn't say that. But we are concerned with that, and keeping our fingers crossed for the MRI or whatever he does."
Shanahan also noted that he hadn't yet spoken with Bosa directly, commenting, "I'm sure he's concerned. I'm just knowing how he would be, and hopefully, we'll have some good news tomorrow."
Other 49ers injury updates from Shanahan:
- DE Mykell Williams – suffered a wrist injury but returned to the game.
- CB Renardo Green – evaluated for a head injury but cleared to return.
- QB Mac Jones – suffered a knee injury but returned.
- DT CJ West – suffered a thumb injury and did not return.
The 49ers hope to get more clarity on Bosa's status following further tests as they prepare for their upcoming Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
