Quarterback Brock Purdy participated in his second consecutive practice of the week as he continues to recover from the toe injury that sidelined him in Week 2. While Purdy appears to be trending in the right direction, his availability for Sunday's matchup remains uncertain.
While the 49ers are still listing Purdy's left shoulder injury from Week 1 in their reports, the quarterback told reporters that it is no longer a concern.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk and defensive back Siran Neal also returned to practice on Thursday after missing the session on Wednesday. Both wore no-contact jerseys as they work their way through the NFL's concussion protocol.
Meanwhile, running back Christian McCaffrey and defensive linemen Nick Bosa and Yetur Gross-Matos—all of whom sat out Wednesday's practice—were back on the field for Thursday's session.
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings was missing from practice for the second straight day as he deals with ankle and shoulder injuries. However, he was seen working with trainers on the side. Wide receiver Jordan Watkins is a newcomer to this week's injury report. He was limited due to a calf issue.
