The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Jefferson (6-3, 316) in the fourth round (116th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. As a rookie in the 2024 season, he appeared in eight games for the Jaguars, logging 12 total tackles, one sack, and one pass defensed.
A product of both West Virginia and LSU, Jefferson finished his collegiate career with 90 tackles (22 for a loss) and six sacks. He played four seasons at West Virginia before transferring to LSU for his final year in 2023, where he recorded a career-high 36 tackles.
The Jaguars waived Jefferson on Tuesday as part of their roster cut-down.
