Levi's Stadium and the Bay Area will host Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026. While many analysts are already dismissing the San Francisco 49ers' chances of playing in that game, Nick Bosa isn't buying it.

The 49ers are coming off a disappointing 6-11 season and underwent a major roster overhaul this offseason. Key veterans on the defensive front—including Javon Hargrave, Maliek Collins, and Leonard Floyd—are gone, replaced by younger, unproven talent.


Bosa, a defensive cornerstone, remains. Despite the turnover, the All-Pro defensive end believes the team is still capable of winning it all. That's because Bosa has experience entering a season as an underrated team.

"I definitely think this group can win a Super Bowl," Bosa said Thursday on Bay Area radio station KNBR. "I mean, you look at our '19 team, and nobody thought that was [a Super Bowl-level squad].

"It's not about having a huge-name guy at every position, kind of like we did in '23 or whatever. It's just how you gel, and how you play. And I think, when I look at who we have on this team, I think we undoubtedly have a chance to do that."

Injuries played a big role in last season's struggles. Key stars like Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams missed significant time but enter training camp fully healthy. Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and safety Malik Mustapha, one of last year's breakout rookies, are also expected to return.

San Francisco's offseason losses were significant, but Bosa and his teammates believe in the organization's ability to maintain a competitive roster.


With improved health and one of the NFL's easiest schedules, Bosa believes the 49ers can bounce back and make a serious run at Super Bowl LX.
