Cowherd sees the Los Angeles Rams winning the division for a second straight year and was especially impressed with the Seattle Seahawks' 2025 NFL Draft, calling it the best class in the league.
He also praised the Arizona Cardinals' draft, stating, "Arizona's defense is going to be a handful. Their offense is fine. Also, [WR] Marvin Harrison [Jr.] and [QB] Kyler Murray now go to a second year together. That matters."
Regarding the 49ers, Cowherd didn't hold back his criticism of the team's offseason moves, particularly their draft strategy.
"I don't like what I see with the Niners," Cowherd said. "I did not like their draft at all. I think when you look at the Niners draft, I see Kyle Shanahan taking some reaches here to help him, and not the future. He wants to win now."
As for the NFC playoff picture, he predicts the Rams and Seahawks will represent the NFC West, but he doesn't believe the Cardinals will be a pushover, making things challenging for Shanahan and company.
Cowherd added, "I didn't like the Niners draft at all. I'm not saying they're a five-win team, but I think Arizona can win 10 to 11 games."
