OT Armand Membou, Missouri
Armand Membou stands at 6'4", 332 pounds, with 33..5" arms and a wingspan of 82". He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.91 seconds with a 1.71-second 10-yard split. Membou played predominantly on the right side of the offensive line at the tackle position. He logged 1,964 snaps in his three-year career at Missouri at the right tackle position. In 2024, Membou lined up on the left side to play guard once and 88 times as an inline tight end.
Not only is Membou super athletic for his size, but he's versatile. He's allowed 26 career pressures, 23 hurries, and three sacks. Although the 49ers have Colton McKivitz as their current starting right tackle, Membou would enhance the offense immediately and have a significant impact like their third-round pick from the 2024 NFL Draft, Dominick Puni. Drafting Membou with pick 11 gives the 49ers a strong present form up front, and a great future to look forward to.
TE Tyler Warren, Penn State
Tyler Warren is one of the most versatile tight ends in the draft. He is 6'6" and 257 pounds and could be an inline blocker or pass catcher. In 2024, Warren caught 104 receptions for 1,233 yards, averaging 11.9 yards per reception, and scored eight touchdowns. His versatility allows him to line up as the wildcat and run or throw the ball out of the backfield. Warren has great hands with a strong contested catch and is excellent at running after the catch. In 2024, Warren averaged seven yards per carry after the catch and forced 15 missed tackles.
The 49ers could be looking to go to more than 12 personnel this year, with one running back and two tight end sets. Even though they signed tight end Luke Farrell in free agency, drafting a player like Tyler Warren would boost the offense in receiving and run blocking. With comparisons to All-Pro tight end George Kittle, the 49ers could essentially walk onto the football field with two George Kittles if they decide to draft Tyler Warren with pick 11.
WR Matthew Golden, Texas
Matthew Golden was the X wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns. He transferred from Houston and completed his 2024 season at Texas. Golden finished the 2024 season with 58 receptions, 987 yards, nine touchdowns, and averaged 17.0 yards per reception. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Golden ran a 4.29-second 40-yard dash and is known for his ability to take the top of the defense. Although he's an X receiver, 118 of his 494 pass snaps were in the slot. Three hundred three of his 987 yards were from yards after the catch. Matthew Golden was known for turning small plays into big gains at Texas.
Even though the 49ers drafted a vertical threat in the 2024 NFL Draft, Jacob Cowing, adding a receiver that provides explosiveness over the top and underneath could be a vast gain to the team's future and provide the wide receiving room with more depth and talent at the wide receiver position. Drafting a wide receiver at pick 11 could be a considerable risk with other needs for the team, but giving Brock Purdy an X wide receiver could be beneficial.
