Puni earned an $898,036 bonus for his contributions in 2024, while Purdy received an $857,842 bonus.
Under the Performance-Based Pay program, a fund is created to provide supplemental player compensation based on a comparison of playing time and salary. Players are eligible for a bonus distribution in any regular season in which they play at least one official down.
This means players with higher playtime percentages and lower salaries benefit most from the pool.
Purdy finished last season with 3,864 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions through 15 starts. Puni started all 17 games, playing 100% of the offensive snaps.
