Garrett seeks to play for a more competitive team, believing the Browns aren't trending in the right direction. Warner sat down with Kay Adams in New Orleans on Thursday, ahead of Super Bowl LIX, and addressed the possibility of adding Garrett to San Francisco's star-studded defense.
"There's always room for a Myles Garrett ... because this is a Hall of Fame player," Warner told Adams. "Not just a Hall of Famer, one of the best to ever do it, and just a super soldier. You see him walking around here. He looks a lot different than a lot of these other cats that are walking around here.
"I don't know how that would even come about, how we would get that done, but I know there's some way, somehow, we can figure that out."
The linebacker even joked about teaming up with Kittle to help fund Garrett's move to the Bay Area.
"Me and George can just give a little bit of our funds over to Myles Garrett," Warner said. "... And in turn, we get a Super Bowl."
As for Kittle, the tight end is well aware of what an elite pass rusher like Garrett could mean for the 49ers.
"Yeah, I think Miles Garrett's a pretty good football player, from what I've remembered watching his tape. Solid, decent. Yes," Kittle said.
He added, "I'm all for adding really good football players to my roster that makes my job as an [offensive player] easier because [opponents] don't score as many points when you have a guy like [DE] Nick Bosa and/or Myles Garrett on the side."
