As is common in many mock drafts, Edholm has the 49ers bolstering their offensive line, selecting Missouri offensive lineman Armand Membou at No. 11.
"It's too bad we didn't get to see him at the Senior Bowl; for a snapshot of Membou's talent, throw on the South Carolina game," Edholm wrote. "He controlled some excellent defensive linemen in that November tilt."
Membou arrived at the Senior Bowl but was forced to withdraw due to a bad case of the stomach flu. However, his draft stock remains strong, as he is still regarded as one of this class's top offensive line prospects.
During his three seasons at Missouri, Membou played primarily at right guard, with just one snap at left guard in 2024. NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah recently noted that the 6-foot-3, 314-pound lineman could have a higher ceiling as an interior lineman rather than at tackle.
A two-year starter, Membou earned an outstanding 90.4 offensive grade from Pro Football Focus in 2024, ranking fifth nationally among collegiate offensive linemen. His run-blocking grade (87.6) and pass-blocking grade (85.4) were equally impressive. Over 410 pass-blocking snaps, Membou allowed just nine pressures and zero sacks during the 2024 season.
Edholm projects Membou as the second offensive lineman off the board, following LSU's Will Campbell, whom he has going to the Chicago Bears at No. 10.
