On Saturday, the team placed guard Spencer Burford and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles on injured reserve, both sidelined by calf injuries. To fill the vacant roster spots, the 49ers promoted defensive end Alex Barrett and linebacker DaShaun White from the practice squad to the active roster.
Additionally, the 49ers elevated offensive lineman Drake Nugent and wide receiver Trent Taylor from the practice squad, making both players available for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals.
