While the season has been disappointing, the silver lining is that the 49ers will benefit from a last-place schedule in 2025, facing some of the weakest squads from this season.
For the 2025 NFL season, the 49ers will play nine road games and eight home games. As always, they will face their NFC West rivals—the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, and Arizona Cardinals—twice.
Additionally, the schedule includes matchups against the last-place teams from the NFC North (Bears), NFC East (Giants), and AFC North (Browns), along with games against every team in the NFC South and AFC South.
Below is a list of the 49ers' 2025 opponents. In May, the NFL will announce the dates and times for each game.
Home (8)
- Arizona Cardinals
- Los Angeles Rams
- Seattle Seahawks
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Chicago Bears
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Tennessee Titans
Away (9)
- Arizona Cardinals
- Los Angeles Rams
- Seattle Seahawks
- Cleveland Browns
- Houston Texans
- Indianapolis Colts
- New Orleans Saints
- New York Giants
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
