Earlier this week, head coach Kyle Shanahan stressed that the 49ers would allow their star players as much time as needed before making a final decision on their availability against the Bears.

The team's official game status report, set to be released this afternoon, will provide crucial insight into their progress. Will Bosa and Williams be listed as questionable for the game, or will their absence from practice this week lead to the 49ers ruling them out?

Also missing from practice was left guard Aaron Banks, who remains in the concussion protocol.
