For Samuel, it's Super Bowl or bust. Anything less would be a disappointment.
"It's either now or never," Samuel said on his new show for Bleacher Report, Cleats and Convos. "That's how I kind of look at it, with the guys that we have. I've been a part of the best team in the NFL for the past, going on six years, and so we always there. We gots to get it done."
The 49ers suffered a minor setback with a road loss to the Minnesota Vikings this past weekend, but they hope to bounce back on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. Unfortunately, Samuel suffered a calf strain against the Vikings and is expected to miss a couple of weeks.
Teammate Brandon Aiyuk, who joined Samuel as his first guest on the show, echoed Samuel's "now-or-never" mindset.
"Me, personally, I felt like we have one of the greatest football teams to ever be assembled," Aiyuk said. "Personally, that's how I feel. I see it every day. We know what we have to do. We know what it looks like. There's only one thing left to do, so it's really just focusing on that."
When asked what it would take to finally win a championship with this talented roster, Samuel responded, "Be your best self, and as long as you know you left it all out there, and win, lose, or draw, as long as you know you gave it everything, you ain't got no regrets at all."
