According to NBC Sports Bay Area's Jennifer Lee Chan, current 49ers tight ends Logan Thomas, Eric Saubert, Cameron Latu, and Mason Pline are present for the annual event.
Latu landed on the season-ending injured reserve list before last season, undergoing meniscus surgery. Earlier this month, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan stated that Latu has not experienced any setbacks and remains on track to be ready for training camp.
Brandon Allen is among the quarterbacks participating in the event, joining Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings. Allen re-signed with the 49ers in March.
Some former 49ers players are also taking part, including tight ends Ross Dwelley and Charlie Woerner, both of whom signed with the Falcons during free agency.
Kittle, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and NFL tight end turned sportscaster Greg Olsen founded TEU in 2021. The annual event brings together NFL tight ends to learn from each other and improve their skills.
"Over the course of the summit, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities, including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more," explains TEU's official website. "In addition to current players, TEU also features several retired legends who provide attendees with the invaluable opportunity to learn from some of the best to ever play the game."
