The update follows Greenlaw's conversation with NBC Sports Bay Area last week, where he shared similar news about his recovery and discussed whether the UNLV practice fields contributed to the injury. Greenlaw reiterated these points on Thursday night.

Regarding his recovery, Greenlaw gave a positive update to host Laura Britt.
"It's a long, long, slow process," Greenlaw said in front of the audience at the California Theatre in San Jose. "I'm feeling really, really good, though. I'm happy to be able to walk on the stage, actually. It's been about three months now since the injury. I just recently got out of the boot, and just, slowly, every day, just rehabbing, getting the strength, getting the mobility in it.
"And yeah, just doing whatever it takes to be able to get back on the field as soon as possible."
San Francisco selected Greenlaw out of Arkansas in the fifth round (No. 148 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He recorded 120 tackles, including five for a loss, four quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks, and four passes defensed in 15 starts with the 49ers last season, playing 89 percent of the defensive snaps, per Pro Football Reference.
Greenlaw is working his way back and gearing up for his sixth NFL season.
