Brock Purdy has faced his share of doubters this season, with some clinging to the narrative that the 49ers quarterback is simply a "game manager," implying he's just along for the ride.
During "Super Bowl Opening Night," clearly expecting a question about the label, Purdy was asked if he was prepared to disappoint Swift in a fourth-quarter scenario at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.
"Yes. I'll leave it at that," Purdy said with a smile as his Chiefs counterpart, Patrick Mahomes, laughed.
The 49ers and Chiefs will clash on Sunday. San Francisco is currently favored by two points.
