Wide receiver Deebo Samuel, in a recent interview with Rich Eisen, expressed the team's self-assurance, stating, "We're pretty confident with the guys that we have here, and the stuff that we put out on tape all year long, and the mindset that we've been carrying in week in and week out, and just keeping the main thing the main thing. At this point, it's win or go home. So everybody's going to go out here and give it their all."
The 49ers will hold two practices this week—Thursday and Friday sessions—before getting a break for the weekend. Players will get to watch the Wild Card round of the playoffs at home, waiting to learn which of the NFC teams they will face on the weekend of January 20.
A notable difference in this playoff run is the team's relative health. The 49ers are optimistic about the return of several players, providing a significant boost for a potential Super Bowl run.
"I feel like we're going to have all hands on deck," Samuel emphasized. "We [will] get a lot of guys back. We had a couple guys banged up, and I feel like we just getting a lot of guys back, and we'll be full head of steam and at full strength."
The 49ers will host the weakest-seeded winner from this weekend's slate of games in the Divisional Playoff round.
