San Francisco is coming off a 42-19 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles that saw the team put up 456 yards of offense and six total touchdowns. QB Brock Purdy posted a passer rating of 148.8 by completing 19 of his 27 passing attempts for 314 yards and four touchdowns, two of which were to WR Deebo Samuel. Samuel tallied 116 yards on four receptions and added a 12-yard rushing touchdown on the evening. WR Brandon Aiyuk and WR Jauan Jennings each caught a touchdown pass from Purdy, while RB Christian McCaffrey tallied 17 rushes for 93 yards and a two-yard touchdown.
The 49ers defense held the Eagles to just 46 rushing yards on the evening and sacked Eagles QB Jalen Hurts three times. DL Javon Kinlaw registered a career-high 2.0 sacks on Hurts, and DL Kalia Davis notched the first sack of his career. CB Charvarius Ward recorded four passes defensed, which tied a career-high, while S Ji'Ayir Brown and LB Dre Greenlaw led the way with seven tackles each.

- Both starting quarterbacks in Sunday's game between SEATTLE (6-6) and SAN FRANCISCO (9-3) at Levi's Stadium have wide-ranging athletic bloodlines. The Seahawks' GENO SMITH has a brother, Geonte Smith, who played college football at Savannah State. Their grandfather, Cyril Smith, was a bodybuilder and boxer, while a great uncle, Danny Smith, was an All-American hurdler at Florida State. The 49ers' BROCK PURDY has a brother, Chubba Purdy, who is a quarterback at Nebraska entering his junior year. Their father, Shawn Purdy, was a pitcher in the Kansas City Royals, Oakland A's and California Angels organizations. Brock's sister, Whitney Purdy, played softball at Southeastern University.
- Since 2017, with a minimum of five games, the Seahawks have the NFL's best regular-season record, 8-5 (.615), against the 49ers.
