San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey returned to the practice field on Saturday, increasing his chances of playing in Monday night's clash against the Minnesota Vikings. McCaffrey had been sidelined for the entire week due to an oblique injury sustained in last weekend's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been working through a shoulder issue. Tackle Trent Williams suffered an ankle injury early in the game but played through the pain. Neither was seen at the start of practice.

The Niners will reveal their official game status report after practice.

Saturday's practice is San Francisco's last of the week before traveling to Minneapolis for Monday night's game. The 49ers are currently favored by seven points over the Vikings in the prime-time matchup.
