The 49ers are coming off their first loss of the season, a 19-17 defeat at the hands of the Cleveland Browns. On offense, QB Brock Purdy completed 12 of his 27 passing attempts for 125 yards and one touchdown to RB Christian McCaffrey, who finished the day with 11 rushes for 43 yards. RB Jordan Mason tallied 27 yards on five carries, including an eight-yard rushing touchdown. WR Brandon Aiyuk led the air attack, hauling in four receptions for 76 yards.
The defensive unit was led by LB Fred Warner, who notched seven tackles and an interception of Browns QB P.J. Walker. DL Nick Bosa and DL Randy Gregory each registered a sack on Walker, while CB Deommodore Lenoir added five tackles and intercepted Walker once. LB Oren Burks finished with a team-high eight tackles, while CB Charvarius Ward tallied five tackles and a forced fumble.
