On Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter delivered some encouraging updates regarding players injured during the San Francisco 49ers' loss to the Cleveland Browns. While head coach Kyle Shanahan had already labeled wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tackle Trent Williams as day-to-day, star running back Christian McCaffrey's test results were still pending, and fans have eagerly awaited an update.

McCaffrey suffered an oblique/rib injury in the third quarter of Sunday's loss, while Samuel sustained a shoulder injury in the first quarter. Williams injured his ankle in the first quarter but was able to play through the pain.

Schefter reports that none of these injuries appear to be long-term, including McCaffrey's, giving hope that all three may be available for the Week 7 clash against the Minnesota Vikings.

The 49ers will hold their first practice of the week on Thursday, followed by Friday and Saturday sessions. They will then travel to Minneapolis before Monday's game at U.S. Bank Stadium.
