Two key defenders did not practice. Cornerback Charvarius Ward is dealing with a heel injury, while linebacker Dre Greenlaw is still recovering from a low-ankle sprain.
On the offensive side of the ball, running back Elijah Mitchell continues to miss practice after sustaining a knee injury during practice last week. Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano remains in the concussion protocol.
Wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings were limited participants during Wednesday's practice. Jennings was inactive against the Arizona Cardinals due to a shin injury. Samuel played on Sunday despite being listed as "questionable" for the game. He has been working through knee and rib injuries sustained in Week 3 against the New York Giants.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Cowboys, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
