Aiyuk suffered the shoulder injury on his first catch, a 13-yard reception, in San Francisco's opening drive against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. He was in and out of the lineup throughout the Week 2 contest and was limited during the 49ers' light practices this week.
San Francisco drafted Aiyuk (6-0, 200) out of Arizona State with the No. 25 overall pick in 2020. The 25-year-old has registered 11 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns through two games this season.
On Wednesday, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reported that cornerback Ambry Thomas (knee), also listed as "questionable" for the game, is expected to play.
