According to projections from ticket reseller Vivid Seats, 64 percent of the crowd at the Rams' home venue is expected to be 49ers fans, creating a favorable road environment for the visiting team.
"Sunday's game currently ranks as one of the hottest NFL tickets for Week 2, coming in 3rd," a representative with Vivid Seats told 49ers Webzone.
Only the New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles games ranked higher in Week 2.
On Wednesday, defensive end Nick Bosa spoke highly of 49ers fans' ability to take over opposing stadiums, including Acrisure Stadium on Sunday.
"It's great," Bosa said. "I think we have the best traveling fan base overall. Pittsburgh was impressive, and I think we'll take over L.A."
In recent years, a strong 49ers presence has been a problem for the home-team Rams. The Niners fan base being well-represented in Southern California and Los Angeles being a short flight from the Bay Area has led to a lot of red at SoFi Stadium when the two teams clash.
The 49ers have won eight consecutive regular-season games against the Rams, a streak that dates back to 2019. San Francisco is currently an 8.5-point favorite.
