Play-action passing
Quarterbacks coach Brian Griese conducted a passing drill that involved simulating through play-action passes, where the quarterbacks practiced a variety of throws, including deep shots.
Footwork
As always, Griese conducted a footwork drill with the quarterbacks, which was on display during the first day of padded practices.

Khalan Laborn and Isaiah Winstead brought back an old classic in the latest installment of the Rookie Hype Machine on Monday.
Wilks in action
Defensive coordinator Steve Wilks was very hands-on today, taking Charvarius Ward and Deommodore Lenoir aside, and coaching them up during individual drills.
Tackling time
With pads finally on, Wilks involved a tackling simulation drill with the defensive backs and linebackers, practicing angles and other aspects of the game.
