"Size, strength, power, speed, quickness, solid length, repertoire of moves, and high motor," a high-ranking NFL official told Fowler. "He's got it all."
The 49ers made Bosa the No. 2 overall pick in 2019. He will likely become the NFL's highest-paid defender in the coming weeks.
Bosa registered 51 tackles, 19 tackles for a loss, a pass defensed, two forced fumbles, and a league-leading 18.5 sacks through 16 starts last season, per Pro Football Reference.
"He produced a 15.3% pressure rate on his pass rushes in 2022, per Next Gen Stats, and his 48 quarterback hits led the field by 12," wrote Fowler.
The 25-year-old has recorded 156 tackles, 56 tackles for a loss, 106 quarterback hits, 43 sacks, four passes defensed, an interception, and eight forced fumbles in 51 game appearances (49 starts) through his four NFL seasons.
"He's just so fast and twitchy," an NFC exec told Fowler. "He turns the edge so well and has a knack to get the ball back. [He] seems to make a game-changing play every week."
Behind Bosa within the ranking are Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns and Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys.
