Local pro days provide NFL teams with an in-person opportunity to work out prospects who are residents of nearby areas. The event allows teams to spend some extra time with local players they may be interested in drafting while also giving those players a valuable chance to impress their local franchise.
Today's attendees do not count against the 49ers' 30-player limit for pre-draft visits, as teams are allowed to host unlimited local prospects.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan, general manager John Lynch, and other coaches, executives, and scouts will be on hand to evaluate prospective draftees.
