Typically, it would be mock draft roundup season. However, fewer mock drafts extend beyond the first round. Below are some projections regarding what Lynch and the Niners might do with their first handful of selections from those who chose to create three-round mock drafts.
San Francisco's first selection is expected to be No. 99 overall, the first of three third-rounders the team is currently predicted to own. All three are compensatory picks for other teams' hirings of former 49ers coaches and executives Robert Saleh, Martin Mayhew, Mike McDaniel, and Ran Carthon.
The official draft slots for the 49ers' compensatory picks have not yet been announced, so some slot numbers below vary slightly.
Wake Forest wide receiver A.T. Perry is the only player who appears more than once between the mock drafts. The 6-foot-5 and 206-pound wideout surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in each of his last two seasons, accruing 2,389 total yards and 26 total touchdowns while averaging 15.7 yards per catch during his 2021 and 2022 campaigns.
