First, the known injuries. Charles Omenihu suffered an oblique strain that briefly forced the defensive end to exit the game. Shanahan says Omenihu is day-to-day leading to Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Running back Christian McCaffrey revealed that he fought through some bothersome calf discomfort against the Cowboys.
"I was fighting but made it through; made it through great," McCaffrey told reporters.
Shanahan said McCaffrey is day-to-day with a calf contusion.
The newcomer to the injury list is Elijah Mitchell. Shanahan said the second-year running back suffered a groin injury. He is also day-to-day. The coach was asked if there is any level of concern regarding McCaffrey and Mitchell's availability this weekend.
"No," Shanahan responded. "We're expecting to get them all back for Sunday, but we'll see how it goes through the week for practice and everything. Hopefully, it will go well, and that will get them ready for Sunday."
The 49ers and Eagles kick off from Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday at noon Pacific.
