As expected, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, defensive tackle Kevin Givens, and wide receiver Deebo Samuel did not practice on Wednesday. However, Samuel could return to the practice field on Thursday.
"I think he has a chance to practice tomorrow," Shanahan told reporters. "It depends on how today's workout goes and stuff."
Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw's action against the Washington Commanders was his first since Week 3, when he had a setback in his surgically reconstructed knee. Kinlaw did not practice on Wednesday. However, it was not due to another setback.
"That was the plan all along," Shanahan noted. "We're going to have him go full tomorrow."
Defensive end Nick Bosa and punter Mitch Wishnowsky were the only other unexpected name among those who did not practice on Wednesday. However, it's just because both are ill.
All of running back Jordan Mason's game action against the Commanders came on special teams. He entered the game nursing a hamstring injury. He is among the players who were limited participants in practice.
Quarterback Brock Purdy, who has been playing through oblique and rib injuries, was a full participant.
Below are Wednesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Raiders, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
