Tuesday's practice is the only one that will take place before Thursday night's game. It was a lighter session held on the Levi's Stadium field with a later start time of 5:18 p.m.
The obvious names, players expected to miss significant time, did not participate. That includes quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and defensive linemen Kevin Givens and Hassan Ridgeway.
It also includes wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who the 49ers expect to miss about "three-ish" weeks, per head coach Kyle Shanahan. Samuel suffered MCL and ankle sprains in this past weekend's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brock Purdy was limited due to an oblique/rib injury. His status for Thursday night is uncertain. However, the rookie quarterback sounds like he expects to be ready to go.
"I feel good," Purdy told reporters before practice. "Just taking it one day at a time, getting as much treatment as I can, but overall, I feel pretty good."
The 49ers coach believes the team will know more in the coming days.
"We'll find out as these two days go," Shanahan told reporters. "We don't have much time, but we're not going to try to figure that out today or tomorrow. It will probably be on Thursday where we have the best chance to know."
Below are Tuesday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Tuesday's session was a walk-thru. The report below estimates what participation would have been for a full practice.
