Purdy finished the game 16 of 21 for 185 yards, two touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, a QBR of 92.8, and a rating of 134.2.
Two of Purdy's touchdowns were deep passes in the air. The first was on third and five on the Buccaneer's 27-yard line. Purdy threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to running back Christian McCaffrey. The second was on a first and ten. After an interception and a penalty on third down, Purdy threw a deep pass left to Brandon Aiyuk for a 32-yard touchdown.
Purdy looks elusive in the pocket, avoiding pressure and not taking any sacks in this game. Purdy didn't have any designed runs, but he looked good while running with the ball.
Even head coach Kyle Shanahan said, "with Brock's skill and what he does, we don't have a ton of designed quarterback runs and stuff, but maybe we need to; he moved pretty well today."
The Seattle Seahawks, the 49ers' arch-nemesis and division rival, will test Purdy and his 49ers on Thursday night. It's a short week for both teams, and the question will be, can Brock be Purdy good on the road?
