Last week, the Niners beat the Miami Dolphins 33-17. Offensively, the 49ers registered 351 total yards and dominated the game clock, possessing the ball for 40:34. QB Brock Purdy completed 25 of his 37 passing attempts for 210 yards and threw the first two touchdown passes of his career, a three-yard pass to FB Kyle Juszczyk and a three-yard pass to RB Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey led the team in rushing yards with 66 and receiving yards with 88. RB Jordan Mason registered 51 rushing yards on eight attempts, and WR Deebo Samuel caught six passes for 58 yards.


On defense, the 49ers allowed just 33 rushing yards on the day and registered four takeaways. DB Deommodore Lenoir and DB Jimmie Ward both intercepted Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa once, giving Lenoir the first interception of his career and Ward his second this season. LB Fred Warner also registered an interception on QB Skylar Thompson, his first of the season. LB Dre Greenlaw led the team with eight tackles and returned a fumble 23 yards for a touchdown, giving him the second fumble recovery of his career. DL Nick Bosa registered 3.0 sacks on the day, pushing his season total to 14.5.
