The 49ers are coming off a 13-0 win against the New Orleans Saints. On offense, the 49ers tallied 317 total yards, with 222 yards coming through the air from QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who completed 27 of his 36 passing attempts, including a five-yard touchdown pass to WR Jauan Jennings, which was his first touchdown reception of the season. Jennings finished the game with six receptions for 49 yards and one touchdown, while WR Brandon Aiyuk caught five passes for a team-high 65 yards. WR Deebo Samuel also reeled in three receptions for 43 yards and averaged 14.3 yards per catch.


Defensively, the 49ers held the Saints scoreless, giving the unit its first shutout since 2019, and allowed just 63 rushing yards. The defense also forced and recovered two fumbles on the day, one by LB Fred Warner and the other by S Talanoa Hufanga. DL Nick Bosa got to Saints QB Andy Dalton in the backfield once, giving him 11.5 sacks on the season. S Talanoa Hufanga led the team with nine tackles. K Robbie Gould connected on both of his field goal attempts and his only extra point attempt on the day.
