Head coach Kyle Shanahan has already ruled out defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw for Monday's game. Kinlaw remains on injured reserve due to a setback in his surgically reconstructed knee. He did not make the trip with the team.
Also missing from Thursday's practice, the first of the week, was defensive lineman Arik Armstead. He is dealing with foot and ankle injuries that have forced him to miss the last five games. Defensive end Samson Ebukam (quadricep) was also noticeably absent from the practice field. Although, Nick Wagoner of ESPN saw him getting some work on the side.
The good news is that Danny Gray was on hand, albeit limited. Earlier this week, Shanahan said the rookie wide receiver was day-to-day after rolling his ankle during pre-game warmups on Sunday night.
Cornerback Charvarius Ward did not practice due to a personal matter. Shanahan doesn't believe the defender will miss Monday's game, though.
Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Cardinals, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.
