Wide receiver Deebo Samuel emerged with a hamstring injury and is day-to-day.
"He finished the game, but it was bothering him," Shanahan revealed. "But yeah, he reported it today."
As reported after the game, fullback Kyle Juszczyk broke his finger in the third quarter and had surgery on Monday.
"Most likely won't be available this week," Shanahan said. "Should get him after the bye."
Shanahan added, "Missing any of our guys is tough. We've got a number of tight ends on our roster who we try to cross-train at that position. Whether it's Ross [Dwelley] or sometimes it's [George] Kittle. We've got [Tyler] Kroft. We've got Charlie [Woerner]. So we use all those guys pretty similar."
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw is dealing with a calf injury and is day-to-day. Shanahan said cornerback Charvarius Ward, who missed practices last week with a groin injury, emerged from the game without any setbacks. Did the injury impact his play against the Chiefs?
"I think he was more limited by not being able to practice as much in the last couple of weeks, I think," Shanahan said. "When you don't practice, which he couldn't have because of what he was coming back from, it does have an effect on these guys. And that stuff adds up, especially when it started happening a little bit last week."
Shanahan also shared updates on previously-injured players. The 49ers have not yet made a decision regarding cornerback Jason Verrett (knee). The team has until Wednesday—the end of his 21-day practice window–to activate him off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. If they don't, he will not make an appearance this season.
"He looked better last week," Shanahan said of Verrett. "He got more reps last week and took a step in the right direction."
Defensive lineman Arik Armstead (foot, ankle) has a chance to play on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
"Hope to have him back this week," Shanahan said. "Still continuing his rehab, and we'll see how it goes. But it's not just a thing that we have a timeline on because it's not an exact injury. We've just got to wait until it's not flaring up as much."
