The Chiefs beat the 49ers 44-23 at Levi's Stadium Sunday, which was the first time the teams faced off since the Chiefs beat them 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV on February 2, 2020. Clark commented on the Chiefs' win Sunday, which came a week after a close home loss to the Buffalo Bills, and also made a reference to their win over the 49ers in the Super Bowl.
"We're playing the 49ers in their area," Clark said. "We just lost last week, so if we had any type of nuts we're going to go out there and get the job done today, and that's what happened. We beat their ass in their stadium. They talked all that **** and you see what happened. We're still stepping on them two years later I think it is."

Clark made a big play late in each game. He made a fourth quarter sack of 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo on Sunday that put the Chiefs up 37-23, while also sacking Garoppolo to force a turnover on downs late in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl.
Sunday's meeting was the first time the Chiefs and 49ers played in the regular season since 2018 -- a game won by 38-27 the Chiefs, during which Garoppolo suffered a season-ending ACL injury. The 49ers would certainly like to get another crack at the Chiefs before the next time the teams will be scheduled to play in the regular season.
"Hopefully we see them again," 49ers safety Talanoa Hufanga said Sunday.
